Is the Cosmo Casino no-deposit offer actually worth claiming from NZ?
Anyone actually know the wagering on that Cosmo no-deposit offer? The signup page hides the rollover and which pokies count, which for me is a hard pass until I see it. If it's one of those 200x traps on a NZ$ bonus, you'll never clear it in profit. I'd want the terms upfront before handing over any details. 💸
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Same thing bugged me, I went through the whole signup flow with Cosmo and the rollover number just never shows up before you commit 😅 total noob here but even I know a hidden wagering req usually means bad news. Keen to hear if anyone's actually cleared it and which pokies counted. Does anyone have a screenshot of the terms? 🙏

Short answer DunedinLegend is right, hide the rollover and I walk. I've busted more banks than you've deposited over the years and the first lesson was always the same, if a casino won't show the wagering before you sign up, the wagering is ugly. Dunno about Cosmo's offer specifically, but some old Microgaming outfits used to run those tiny no-deposit chips with rollover you'd never clear, and even decent pokies like Thunderstruck couldn't save you. Ask support to put the terms in writing first, and if they dodge, that IS your answer 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Diamond_win has it right IMO, hidden wagering on a no-deposit offer almost always means the rollover only counts a short list of pokies anyway, so even if you clear it you've been funneled into their picks. I'd want the exact games list and the multiple before signup, otherwise my bet per spin maths is just guesswork 🎰 No-deposit sounds free but rollover discipline still applies.
Sorry if this is dumb, but what does rollover actually mean on a no-deposit offer? Is it like you have to spin the bonus money through X times before you can cash anything? 😅

No dumb question at all mate, rollover just means the bonus money has to be spun through a set number of times before any winnings turn into real cash. Say the Cosmo free spins come with 40x wagering, you'd have to get the bonus value spinning through 40 times, and only certain pokies count towards that tally. Nobody can tell you their actual number though, cos they hide it, which is exactly why everyone above is walking.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
For ChasingLosses, yeah exactly that, spin the bonus through X times and whatever survives turns withdrawable. My angle on the Cosmo one, I'd want to know the max bet per spin while clearing too, plenty of casinos void your winnings if you overshoot it mid-rollover. Hidden terms plus a bet cap nobody mentions is how a free bonus turns into a bust 😅
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Fair points all round but I'll say this, you're all arguing over hidden rollover on a freebie nobody's paid a cent for. The old slots hit different back when terms were printed plain on the page, mind you. ChasingLosses, love that you asked instead of just diving in, that instinct will save you more than any promo will 😉 I'd still want to see which pokies count before I bothered signing up though.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
I checked the Cosmo signup flow myself and the wagering terms only show after you make your first deposit, which feels dodgey for a no-deposit offer 😅

Tramping15 nails it, terms behind a deposit wall on a no-deposit offer is a red flag. Free spins with hidden rollover can eat hours clearing for nothing. Skip it 💸
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Terms locked behind a deposit on a no-deposit deal, that's all I need to know really. Even as a freebie, if I can't see the rollover and which pokies count before signing, I can't weigh whether the bonus is worth clearing, and blind wagering is how bankrolls leak 😭 Someone post the actual terms if they sign up, keen to see if it even hits.
Bankroll discipline wins 💸
