Imperial Wins Casino's tournament list looks odd
Spun through the Imperial Wins promos page last night after my usual evening session and mate, that tournament lineup looks all over the shop π
like half of them seem to overlap or just sit there doing nothing, weird vibe for a place that otherwise treats NZ punters decent π₯π°
Anyway I'm keen to give one of these events a proper crack, but the wagering on tournament stuff always makes me twitchy β does anyone know how these ones actually count? Is it just spins on the featured games or does everything on the list contribute? Don't wanna dump a deposit in then realise the points only tick over on some dead slot nobody touches ππ€ drop your experiences below π°
The hit is close, I can feel it.
Same here Jack, overlapping tourneys everywhere. Reckon the real test is the wagering. If it counts pokies at full rate I'll run a small bet per spin and see if it hits. πΈ
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Overlap like that reminds me of the old Tomb Raider days when promos stacked and nobody could tell what counted π wagering's the real test though, check whether bonus play even scores in those tournaments before you chase the leaderboard.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
That overlap got me too π
do bonus spins even count towards the tournament score? keen to hear if anyone's cleared the wagering on one of these

Yeah the stacking on that promos page is doing my head in too π
what I noticed is the tournament tiles don't tell you whether bonus-money spins score or not, so if you're clearing wagering at the same time you're flying blind on the leaderboard. I'd run a small bet per spin on cash first and see what actually counts before burning any free spins there. Keep the bankroll tight on these ones, they look half-finished.
Flying blind on the leaderboard is the perfect way to put it π
I'm new to Imperial Wins myself and maybe I'm being dumb, but I assumed bonus spins counted everywhere - apparently not? Cheers Sam, that helps π
New here, soaking it up.
Same here, spent ten minutes on that promos page last night and gave up trying to work out which tournaments actually credit bonus spins π
my rule is simple: if the terms don't say bonus play scores, I treat the leaderboard as cash-players-only and plan my bet per spin accordingly. Got stung before chasing a board that never counted my wagering, watched the bankroll bleed for nothing. What got me is how some tiles just sit there expired-looking while others overlap, no clear dates anywhere. Keen to hear if anyone's actually finished the wagering on one of these and hit the board - otherwise I'm skipping the tournaments and just running my usual spins till the lineup gets sorted.
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
SweetAs that's basically what I do now too π
made my first deposit here recently and I'm still working out what the wagering even counts, so flying blind on those leaderboards spooks me π

Doing the same since my first deposit here, assume bonus spins score zero unless the tile says otherwise. Only caught one tournament on Imperial Wins that clearly credited bonus play, rest were vague π

Total noob here with only one deposit at Imperial Wins so far, and honestly this thread just answered the thing I was too shy to ask π
so if bonus play scores nothing unless the tile says it does, does the wagering I'm clearing still count towards leaderboard points or is that counted separately too? Anyone know? π

@OtagoNZ same thing happened to me, burned a whole deposit clearing wagering and the leaderboard stayed flat π€ now I check the tile first every time, brutal lesson lol

Quick check worth doing, RngGodGate: open the tournament terms page and look for two separate lines, one for eligible games and one for scoring. If the scoring line only names specific tiles (usually the bonus play ones), then everything else, wagering spins included, contributes zero points. Imperial Wins does seem to run it that way going by what the lads here saw, but the terms are the only thing I'd trust.
My rule on these leaderboards: treat points as a separate game from clearing wagering. If the tile scores, fine, your spins do double duty. If not, decide which goal you're actually chasing, because the variance will happily eat your balance while you try to do both. I've seen mates burn a whole NZ$100 deposit learning this exact lesson. Check the tile first, every time, no exceptions.
