Does Jackpot City Casino offer cashback or rakeback for NZ players?
Been wondering the same about Jackpot City myself. Seems like all the noise is around the welcome bonus and then radio silence on cashback for NZ accounts. Keen to hear if anyone's actually cleared wagering there beyond the intro offer, or if it's just dead promos after that. Chasing cashback changes how I'd size my bet per spin, so worth knowing before I dump a bankroll in 💸
Bankroll discipline wins 💸
Ha, "dead promos" is a kind way to put it mate 😄
From what I've seen with Jackpot City on NZ accounts, you're both spot on - it's all fireworks for the welcome bonus and then it goes quiet. No proper cashback or rakeback worth the name for us here as far as I can tell. Way I see it, welcome offers with heavy wagering are designed to fizzle, once you've cleared it, they've got you and the rest of the promos are just crumbs. Wish they'd run an honest weekly cashback like some places do, but that's not the model there. I mostly treat the intro offer as a paid entry ticket and don't chase anything after, keeps the bankroll sane. Anyone knows different I'm all ears though 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
I ran the numbers on the expected value of chasing reloads there once and gave up, once the welcome wagering is done there's genuinely nothing on the promo page for NZ accounts that moves the needle. Diamond_win2012 pretty much summed up my experience: no cashback or rakeback worth structuring a session around. I'd rather put those spins into somewhere with a proper weekly rebate and track the variance on my own sheet instead 📊
Quick question 😅 what's the difference between cashback and rakeback exactly? Seen both mentioned and always assumed they were the same thing. Thanks Diamond_win2012, that helps!

Good on you for asking, mate - cashback is a slice of your losses handed back (say a few percent of what you dropped over a week), while rakeback refunds a cut of the house edge or fees taken on each bet, common at poker tables and some pokies lobbies. With Jackpot City from a NZ account, though, you'd be hard pushed to find either running properly, like the lads above say, once the welcome wagering clears, the promo page goes quiet as a dairy shed at midnight. The old slots used to reward loyalty like that, these days you take the welcome bonus and she'll be right after that. 😉

Cheers OtagoBro, that clears it up 😅 Maybe I'm being dumb but I'd settle for even small cashback here - been grinding the welcome wagering on my NZ$ deposit and after that Jackpot City just goes quiet for us. 🤔
New here, soaking it up.
ReelDiva, same here. Cleared the welcome wagering on my NZ$ and the promo page went dead after that. The old slots hit different, but these days the loyalty side feels like an empty lolly jar 😄

@Danny_Tauranga empty lolly jar is about right, they only seem to refill it at the front door. Once the welcome wagering is cleared, whatever the loyalty tier kicks back sits so thin against the pokies house edge that even on a small spin sample my sheet barely registered the credits. Rakeback would be a flat slice of turnover, cashback leans on net losses, and Jackpot City serves up neither in any real size past the intro.
RTP is a long-run number.
Same experience here 😅 Finished the welcome wagering on my NZ$ deposit a wee while back and thought there'd be more after, but the promos just went quiet. Didn't realise cashback and rakeback were different things until this thread, so that's handy to know. Would happily chase even small weekly cashback if it actually showed up for NZ accounts 🤔

My read on Jackpot City from NZ: the welcome wagering is the main dish and after you've cleared it the cashback side is basically crickets 😅 I treat it as a one-and-done deposit, bet small through the playthrough, and if anything lands banked and cashed out. No chase after that. If anyone's actually seen a proper weekly cashback credit on an NZ account, I'd love to hear it.
Glad it wasn't just me going quiet after the welcome wagering cleared 😅 thought I'd missed an email or something. Is cashback even worth chasing here or nah?

Cashback's a trophy for the punters who already donated 😏 house edge eats it before it lands. Tramping15, mate if your bank's already breathed a sigh of relief, take the win and walk 🤡💸
Here to argue, not to clap for your profit.
RngGodGate, nah, not worth chasing. Loyalty kickbacks there are thin after the welcome playthrough. If you cleared it, screenshot any withdrawal and call it done.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.

@RngGodGate nah mate I stick around anyway, loyalty credits trickle in but the pokies carry it 😅 cleared my welcome playthrough last month and still chasing that next hit 🎰🔥
The hit is close, I can feel it.
WhaleGG calling the loyalty credits thin is wild to me, mine trickle in every week and honestly it keeps me topped up between hits 🔥 Cashback's not huge for NZ punters here but it's something, and I'll take something over nothing while I chase the pokies 🎰💰 Still buzzing from a NZ$340 hit last Friday ngl 😱
