Is the Lucky Wins Casino cashback actually worth chasing?

Cashback's the one promo I've never fully trusted, and I've chased enough of them to know why. Back in the day you'd grind the old pokies and the cashback would land clean, no strings. These days there's usually wagering stitched into it somewhere, and that's where they get you. So yeah, same questions here. How is the Lucky Wins cashback actually worked out, does it count every game or just certain slots, and what's the playthrough before you can pull it off? If someone's run it through real play with actual NZ$ deposits, keen to hear whether it paid out or just sat there dead in the bonus wallet. I've busted more banks than I care to count, happy to trade war stories if others have got them 😉

Agreed that wagering is where cashback offers usually die, though I'd add a variance nuance to it. Even a "clean" cashback is just EV returned on your net losses, so on a high volatility slot your loss sample swings wildly week to week. The real question with Lucky Wins is which games count and how many times you have to spin the rebate through before cashout. If anyone's run it, post the wagering terms, that single number decides everything 📊

Quick dumb one from me 😅 when you say net losses, does that mean they only count what I'm down overall for the week, or every losing spin? Still figuring out how Lucky Wins works it out.
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

Good question, no shame in asking. Net losses means what you're actually down overall for the period, after your wins come off. Say you drop NZ$200 over the week and win back NZ$150, your net loss is NZ$50 and the cashback gets worked off that, not every losing spin counted separately. Only catch is you'd want to check which games count towards it at Lucky Wins and what wagering sits on the cashback before it's yours, because that's usually where these deals quietly lose their shine 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Here's the bit I'd want answered before chasing the Lucky Wins cashback, which games actually count towards the net losses? If the dead spins on your high variance picks get excluded and only certain pokies qualify, that "net loss" number shrinks fast. And does the cashback come with wagering stitched on or lands clean? That decides everything for me. 😅

Slot_Hunter hit the nail on the head there, that's the bit I'd want nailed down too. Reminds me of the old days when Thunderstruck would eat your whole arvo and the cashback still counted every cent of it. These days you read the terms and half your session was on games that "don't qualify", suddenly your net loss is a fraction of what you actually dropped. For the young fella asking about net losses, Diamond_win2012 explained it right, it's the weekly tally after wins come off, not per spin. My honest verdict on the Lucky Wins one, I wouldn't chase it until someone here can confirm which pokies count and how rough the wagering on the returned money is. Cashback that arrives with 40x attached is just a bonus in disguise, and I've busted enough banks to smell that one coming 😄 anyone actually cleared one yet?
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
