nah not a dumb question mate, it trips everyone up. the rollover on free spins winnings is usually on what you win, not the spin stake itself. so say the spins pay you NZ$10, and the wagering says 40x, you'd be turning over NZ$400 before that money frees up. the spin stake doesn't get added on top, it's already gone by then.
the catch with golden crown though, same as you said RngGodEnjoyer, nobody seems to know if it's 40x or some other number cos it's not written anywhere obvious. and which pokies count towards it matters more than the multiplier honestly, some places only let the lowest contributing games run at full rate. old-school grind used to be you could check the terms in two minutes, now you need a law degree 😄 if anyone's actually cleared this one, shout out what the fine print said.
