Is the Candyland Casino tournament race actually worth grinding?
Grinded the Candyland race two nights straight and honestly it's paying off for me π₯ leaderboard looks scary til you realise half the punters drop off after day one, so if you're on it every evening anyway the extra spins are basically free value π€ dunno about the top prize but mid-table rewards have been sweet so far, worth a grind ngl, ah well, back to spinning π°π°
Backing my slot to the last spin.
BachLoyal nails it, the grind only stacks if the extras clear in profit. seen plenty of mates chase leaderboards and bust faster than the rewards land. if you're playing anyway, free value; chasing it, that's greed talking π
I remember the old slots first-hand.
MissFortuneFortuna's right about the drop-off, that's half the battle in any race π
My worry is the bet-per-spin grind eating the bankroll faster than the mid-table rewards pay back - a tournament only stacks if the wagering on the extras clears in profit. If someone who's finished one can say how quickly the reward funds released, that'd settle whether it's worth my evenings π°
Bankroll discipline wins πΈ
This thread's making me feel better about my half-hearted spin on the Candyland race π
I'm playing casual anyway, so mid-table freebies suit me sweet as, chasing top spots would smash my little NZ$ budget fast π«
New here, soaking it up.
Everyone's so keen on "free value" but has anyone actually worked out whether the extra spins clear wagering in profit, or just churn your deposit faster? BachLoyal's the only one asking the right question here. yeah nah, I've chased leaderboards before - turned 50 into 5k once on the old slots, but the race rewards still ate more than they gave back π mid-table freebies for casual punters like Tramping15, sure, but the grind? doubt it.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Tauranga_Loyal has a point but I've actually cleared the free spins from the race in profit twice now, sugar bomb slot went stupid one night π₯π₯ hit big on the third spin pack and it carried my whole leaderboard grind. If you're spinning Candyland every evening anyway like me, the race extras are pure bonus, no chasing needed π€
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@NeonX sugar bomb on the race spins is exactly where I cashed too, those free spin packs from the leaderboard had wagering on them but they still turned profit for me π Hit big last night on my own deposit though, NZ$410 off sugar bomb and I'm still buzzing π€π₯ Anyone else finding the mid-table spin packs pay better than chasing first place?

@NeonX fair enough, two profitable clears is a real result, but it does tell us more about sugar bomb's variance than about the race itself. High volatility spin packs swing hard both ways, so one big hit on a third spin pack says your spin sample is tiny, if that makes sense. The EV question Tauranga_Loyal raised is still open: the wagering on those packs eats expected value, and the leaderboard only pays it back for the few at the top.
I'd frame it like this. RTP is long-run, not one session, and the race rewards volume over evenings you'd already play anyway. So for you it works because the spins are basically free rides on a game you'd grind regardless. For someone chasing a top spot with extra deposits, the math gets ugly fast. Provably_Lab's NZ$410 hit off his own deposit is exactly that, luck dressed up as strategy.
NeonX clearing the race spins in profit twice is exactly what I mean tho π€ if you're spinning that sugar bomb slot every evening anyway, the leaderboard freebies are just a bonus on top, no need to chase top spots. Imo the race is worth it casual, trap only if greed takes the wheel π°π°
One slot, one love π°
