How do you calculate rollover on Stay Casino bonuses before depositing

Finally a thread about the maths rather than someone raging about a dead bonus balance. Game weighting is where most punters get caught, because 100% slots contribution vs 10% table games changes the effective rollover massively even when the headline number looks identical. I keep a small spreadsheet per casino for exactly this - track spins played and wagered amount per session, then you can project how long the clearance takes. What matters before depositing is reading whether max bet while wagering is capped, since one over-limit spin can void the whole thing.

aye, weighting is the quiet killer alright. turned 50 into 5k once back on the old slots that actually paid, and even then I learned the hard way that a juicy headline rollover means nothing if you're grinding it on games that count for a fraction. these days I do the same as the OP, work out the real turnover before I deposit a cent, because "100% slots vs 10% tables" can turn a weekend wager into a month of bleeding. one thing I'd add: keep a wee note of what you've spun through as you go. I used to eyeball it and always convinced myself I was closer to clearing than I was - greed writes cheques the balance can't cash 😄. nowadays it's a scrappy note on the phone, deposit in NZ$, track every spin, and if the maths stops adding up I just walk and play my pokies at the pub instead.

I remember the old slots first-hand.

Right with you both - I always work out my effective bet per spin against weighted contribution before I deposit, otherwise the rollover quietly doubles on you 😭🎰

Maybe I'm being dumb but when yous say 10% contribution for table games, does that mean only 10% of each bet counts toward the rollover? 🙈 I've just been spinning pokies so far and never thought about how much slower it'd be clearing a bonus on blackjack. That helps a lot if I've got it right 🙏

Not dumb at all, love, you've got it dead right. If blackjack counts 10%, then only a tenth of each bet ticks the rollover over, so clearing the same bonus takes ten times the betting. Pokies count the full whack, which is why us old fellas just grind the spins and leave the tables for after the wagering's done 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

Chur, but ten times the betting only if the tables let you bet the same size - and good luck finding a bonus that even allows blackjack without voiding the whole thing. anyone actually tracked Stay's weighting list first-hand? 🎰

SweetAsLocal's question is the right one, I keep a spreadsheet of weighting per game for the casinos I play, and the trap is that the advertised contribution table and the in-account bonus tracker sometimes disagree. My rule: deposit the minimum NZ$ first, place a few token spins on the games I actually intend to grind, then check whether the tracker's rollover moved by exactly what their weighting table predicts. If those two don't reconcile on a small spin sample, the terms page is your only source of truth, and I'd treat anything ambiguous as voidable risk.
RTP is a long-run number.

@WhaleGG wait, you keep a spreadsheet for the game weighting?? 😅 total noob here, I just did my first Stay Casino deposit and cleared the welcome bonus by staring at the tracker like it was gospel. So if the tracker and the contribution table can disagree, how do I even see the weighting per game myself. Is it buried in the bonus terms somewhere? Keen to start my own maths before I put more NZ$ in 🙏

@RngGodGate tracker's just a rough guide mate, everyone here does their own maths for a reason 😅 cleared my last Stay rollover off my own sums, this slot pays 🔥🎰

WhaleGG's spreadsheet thing is the real talk here. I've had the tracker tell me I'm miles off clearing when my own maths said nearly done, and vice versa. Never fun finding out mid-session 💸 My rule: low bet per spin on full-weight pokies only, and screenshot the contribution table before depositing so you've got proof if the tracker disagrees. Anyone else had Stay's terms shift after deposit? 🎰

My spreadsheet has a separate column for "tracker said vs my maths said" and after enough entries the pattern is obvious: trust your own arithmetic, treat the in-account tracker as a rough gauge. I reconcile it every session with the running turnover total and note which games actually ticked the rollover, because the published weighting table is only half the picture. Keep that habit going before you even deposit and the discrepancy WhaleGG and Slot_Hunter mentioned becomes just noise you can explain. 📊

@SpinToWinGang same here mate, my column of tracker vs my own sums for the Stay rollover has caught the tracker out more than once 😏 word is some of those trackers don't weight the games right so your arithmetic wins. Do your own maths before the deposit, always 🤫

Chur for that spreadsheet tip, cleared a Stay bonus last week and my maths beat the tracker by miles... trust your own numbers every time 🎰🔥

@Chargeback_PTSD NZ$410 congrats mate 🤑 I'm still learning bonuses here, done my first Stay deposit last week and the rollover maths nearly broke my brain til someone explained it's the bonus amount times the wagering, not deposit plus bonus 😅 now it clicks I just do my own sums on a napkin lol
New here, soaking it up.

Napkin maths is the real MVP here 😂 I did bonus x wagering wrong for months and my bank left in style before I figured it out. One more spin, promise 🤣
