not a dumb question at all, and good on you for asking before the deposit goes through. usually it's one of the two: some casinos stick the high-rtp pokies on an excluded list, so the game plays like normal but not a cent comes off your rollover, while others just count them at a reduced rate. i ground a bonus through on book of ra once, one of the old slots that hit different, only twigged halfway through that it was sitting on the excluded list. check that list before you put a dollar in, saves a lot of sore heads.
