Blitz Casino's tournament race, is it actually worth grinding
Blitz tournament race has actually been worth my evenings lately, don't let the cynics put you off π
π₯ It's one of the few leaderboards where a mid-size punter in NZ can still crack the paying zone if you pick your session right. I've been grinding it most nights after milking and hit a spot in the top twenty twice already. Is the top ten hogging everything? Sort of, but that's every race ever.
Only thing I can't answer is what the wagering/points setup looks like long-term or whether they'll keep running these once the local licensing shake-up lands - still all a bit up in the air there. But nah, I'm on it every evening and it keeps me spinning. π°π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
Paul's got a point about picking your session, that's where the leaderboard race is won π° I usually figure it out as bet per spin - if I'm chasing points I'll run the same bankroll at a lower bet over more spins rather than torching it on big bets early. One night I cleared the grind and banked a decent hit mid-race, cashed out and left the rest alone, bankroll discipline wins. Keen to hear if anyone knows whether Blitz counts bonus buy spins toward points though?
sam's got it right, low bet over more spins is how i've always ground these races out π turned a small deposit into a top-ten finish once doing exactly that, just patience and picking the quiet hours. paul's spot on too. Timing matters more than anyone admits. if the leaderboard pays past the top few spots, it's worth an evening; if not, i'd rather stick to my usual pokies.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Go easy on me, total noob here π
but this thread is giving me hope. Been grinding the Blitz race with a small deposit and low-bet spins like Sam said - did absolutely bugger all early in the day, then jumped in during a quiet stretch and actually moved up the board π Question though: do the points still count if I'm playing through a bonus at the same time, or does wagering void my race score?
New here, soaking it up.
quiet hours tip is gold, tried it last night on the Blitz race and climbed a few spots π does anyone know if free spins from the promo count towards the leaderboard points or not? π€

@RngGodGate I wish I knew about the free spins and points, the bonus stuff is always so confusing to figure out. I've been trying to keep track of how the different promos work and if they actually help clear the wagering requirements, it's a lot to read. Does anyone else feel like the rules for those big tournaments are super murky? ππ¬

RngGodGate asked about free spins counting for points - no idea tbh, but my verdict: worth the grind if you play quiet hours like everyone said. Cracked the paying zone last race and it felt huge π€π°π₯
The hit is close, I can feel it.
cracked the zone, aye? it feels big when you do it, i reckon you're right about the quiet hours. but honestly, these modern tournaments feel like theyβve taken all the cream out of the old slots. you put in the grind only to find the juice just isn't there like it used to.

@OtagoBro maybe the juice is thinner, but for a small punter like me the Blitz race still pays out better than my usual luck π
