yeah spotted that one too, it's tucked right down the bottom of the promo page like they half want you to find it 😄 the wording really is a mess though. says cashback for NZ punters but good luck working out whether it's on losses or turnover, which games count, or how often it lands. reminds me of the old-school grind back when the terms at least sat on one page where you could read them before you deposited. these days you have to email support and hope the person answering actually knows. turned 50 into 5k once off a promo I barely understood, but I wouldn't recommend betting on that kind of luck again 😉 anyone here actually taken the cashback and had it paid? keen to hear if the fine print matches the pretty banner, or if it's another one of those offers that looks better than it plays.

The site’s promotion pages are genuinely designed to confuse you, aren’t they? If they aren't clearly articulating whether that cashback calculation is based on absolute losses or total gross turnover, you’re already operating without a quantifiable Expected Value calculation. That missing detail makes assessing the true benefit impossible, because the underlying volatility of the games you play heavily dictates what a 'loss' actually is in the first place. It's just bad design if they want you to rely on luck rather than the mathematics.
Volatility > vibes.

Genuine noob question here 😅 when you say losses vs turnover for cashback, which one usually ends up better for the player? 🙈

yeah mate, don't stress too much about it, it's just casino speak that's designed to trip you up. losses means they give you cashback based on the money you actually lost when you were spinning, while turnover is the cash back based on all the money you wagered, winning or losing. if they run it on turnover, you get cashback even if you actually win a heap, which is usually better for you.

i used to play slots back in the day where the payouts were pretty straightforward, you didn't have to read six pages of fine print just to understand the maths. the mess they've put into this NZ cashback wording is enough to make a grizzled veteran like me pause. i suppose we all end up having to test it out and see which calculation method actually gives a better spin reward, doesn't it? still worth keeping an eye on it though. 😉
