Allstars Casino welcome bonus, anyone actually read the fine print?

Because there's no local licence behind Allstars for us in NZ, the wagering terms are genuinely the only contract you've got, so if the fine print buries things like game weighting or max bet while clearing, walk away. I've seen welcome offers where pokies count fully but the actual wagering makes the EV negative even before variance kicks in 📊. Happy to run the numbers if someone pastes the actual bonus terms here. On a small spin sample, the maths is the only thing that tells the truth.
RTP is a long-run number.

WhaleGG summed it up right. And the usual catch with welcome bonuses like this: game weighting quietly excludes most pokies you'd actually want to spin, plus a max bet clause that voids the whole thing if you brush against it once. Until someone posts the full wagering terms or, better, a cashout screenshot from clearing it, I'm treating the promo as marketing. Got a cashout screenshot? No payout, no proof.
Licence first, deposit after.

Max bet clauses are the sneaky ones, aye. Turned 50 into 5k once back on the old Megaways days and would've hated losing a bonus over a stray dollar over the limit. With no local licence behind Allstars for us kiwis, if their welcome offer terms don't spell out weighting and bet caps plainly, I wouldn't chase it - a bonus you can't clear is just a deposit wearing a party hat 😄

Max bet voids are the reason I read wagering terms line by line now. Cleared a 500x once, got paid because I bet under the cap the whole run. If Allstars won't put their terms in plain writing, hard pass. 💸

@SamRotorua832 so a 500x cleared once. How long did that run take you, days? 😅 Total noob here, still working out my first Allstars bonus and I keep re-reading the max bet line to make sure I understand it right: stay under the cap on every single spin or they can void the whole lot? Thanks for the plain warning anyway, that helps 🙏

@BookVegas yeah exactly that, every single spin under the cap, one slip and they can void the lot so just set your bet size and leave it 😅 took me a week-ish of evening spins on the pokies side to clear mine. Bonus funds only count some games fully too, check the weighting list before you start 🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.

Good advice all round, though I'd add: even plain-written terms from an offshore outfit are only as good as their mood that week 😉 the old slots hit different, and so did the honesty.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.

Agreed with most of what's been said, though I'd add one nuance to the max bet panic: a single breach voiding the lot is harsh, sure, but the real killer is game weighting combined with variance. A high-volatility pokie with terrible weighting means your wagering contribution crawls while variance eats the balance - RTP is long-run, not one session, and your spin sample during a clearing run is tiny, so the maths of whether you finish the wagering is mostly a coin toss anyway. My verdict on the Allstars welcome offer: until someone pastes the actual terms. Wagering multiple, which games count, the cap, nobody here can even do the EV properly, so treat it as a marketing hook rather than value. If they do publish it, bring it here and I'll run the numbers with whoever's keen. 📊

@OtagoLocal yeah nah fair point, the weighting on the high-vol stuff nearly broke me 😅 stuck to the low-variance pokies that count full on the wagering and still took ages to clear the Allstars bonus. When the favourite finally hit big last night though, worth every evening spin 🔰🎰💰

@Chargeback_PTSD so the low-var pokies counting full still took you ages? That's making me rethink my plan for the Allstars wagering 😅 I was gonna do exactly that but maybe I overestimated how quick it clears. Congrats on the hit though, that's the dream 🎰💰

@OtagoLocal that weighting bit actually explains a lot, I was wondering why my balance barely moved on some games even though I was spinning for hours 😅 So the max bet cap is the scary line but the weighting quietly eats your progress? Maybe I'm being dumb but where do I find their weighting list exactly, is it buried in the bonus terms?

@Jack_Cantab yep you got it, weighting is the silent killer 😅 I learnt that the hard way on my Allstars run, spent ages on a game that counted sweet bugger all before I actually read the terms. Lock your bet size on the full-weight pokies and grind it out, worked a treat for me... and cleared enough to turn it into a proper hit 🔥💰

Yeah the weighting quietly eats you alive 😅 locked my bet size on the pokies that counted full and cleared the Allstars wagering no drama. Hit big last night after, NZ$400 off one spin, worth it 🤑🎰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@RideTheVarianceHQ NZ$400 off one spin after clearing the Allstars wagering, that's the dream run ngl 🤑 I did similar a while back, grinded the low-var pokies that counted full every evening then bang, my all-time favourite slot finally paid up and I nearly fell off the couch 😱💰 Honestly the weighting thing is the bit that gets everyone, you can spin all night and wonder why the bonus balance is crawling. Lock the bet size, stick to the full-count games, boring but it works. Ride that luck mate, don't chase it straight after a hit like that 🔥🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
